Developing a business plan is one of the most important challenges you will face as an entrepreneur. The process of developing a good business plan requires an understanding and appreciation for the tools required to do it right.
This in-person workshop was developed to guide you through that process and give you a hands-on systematic way to develop an outline, investigate and evaluate the resources and create a draft of your own business plan. In this workshop, we’ll show you how to:

Joseph Lamberti

Small businesses seeking sound advice on marketing, promotion, ROI and other business essentials need to look no further than UCEDC’s training director, Joe Lamberti. With over 35 years of experience in some of the best-known direct and online marketing companies in the U.S., along with ownership of his own local marketing operation, Joe is well-positioned to provide a seasoned assessment of business operations and strategies.
Joe honed his teaching/coaching talents as an adjunct professor at the business schools of Drexel University, Rowan College and Camden County College. Most recently, he served as a marketing consultant for the Small Business Development Center of New Jersey and the Rutgers School of Business/Camden.
With his deep background in the corporate world, academia and entrepreneurship, small businesses can rely on Joe to bring a well-rounded perspective to their business challenges and opportunities.
Alejandro Cruz
Training Officer
Alejandro Cruz is a training and mentoring officer at UCEDC, a statewide nonprofit economic development corporation that provides loans to startup and growing businesses, government contracting assistance, and training workshops to entrepreneurs and small businesses.
Prior to joining UCEDC, Alejandro held Project Manager positions at Wicresoft and Solar Renewable firms in New Jersey creating financial forecasts for business startups. He also served as lead consultant for three years for an economic development center in South Jersey.
