The Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization (OSDBU) advocates for small, small-disadvantaged, veteran, HUBZone, and women business owners. OSDBU has nationwide responsibility for GSA’s small business programs and promotes increased access to GSA’s national procurement opportunities.
GSA has three service lines of operation:
– Federal Acquisition Service
– Public Building Service
– Office of Administrative Service

Small businesses will learn about the following:
• Selling products and services directly to government agencies using streamlined ordering procedures
• Maintain compliance with federal regulations and policies
• Offer products and services at fair and reasonable prices

In her role as UCEDC’s Director of Procurement Programs, Nadine oversees various procurement activities for small business owners seeking to market and sell their specific products and services to federal, state and local government agencies.

She believes that this familiarity enables her to successfully help small businesses understand how to find, bid, win, and perform on government contracts.

Jemeek Morris
Contract Specialist, Veterans Health Administration (VHA)

Meet Jemeek Morris, a highly credible government contracting expert and distinguished speaker for UCEDC’s Government Contracting Workshop.

Jemeek holds a B.B.A. in Computer Information Systems from C.U.N.Y Bernard Baruch College (2004). With a federal career spanning nearly two decades, he began at the Veterans Benefits Administration in 2004 and transitioned to the Veterans Health Administration (VHA) where he excelled as a Contract Specialist. His impressive credentials include FAC-C Level 2 and Lease Certification Program (LCP) Level 2 certifications, making him a trusted Contracting Officer. Jemeek specializes in Real Property Leasing Contracts, AE Construction, Supply, Service, Utility, and IT procurements, showcasing his comprehensive expertise.
