Maria Seretis

Chief Credit Officer, Spencer Savings Bank

Ms. Seretis serves as the Chief Credit Officer and Senior Vice President for Spencer Savings Bank, where she oversees credit administration, underwriting standards, and portfolio risk management across the Bank’s lending operations. She leads the Credit Department and Loan Review function, ensuring consistent and sound credit practices.

Previously, she served as Assistant Director and Credit Manager in the Commercial Real Estate Department, managing underwriting teams and supporting the Bank’s commercial lending activities. She began her career at Valley National Bank as a Credit Underwriter, focusing on financial analysis and credit evaluation.

Ms. Seretis holds a Bachelor of Science in Applied Mathematics with a concentration in Statistics from Montclair State University.
