U.S. Department of Defense: Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) Webinar
Event Navigation
The Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) is the U.S. Department of Defense’s (DoD) newest verification process designed to certify that contractors have controls in place to protect sensitive data.
Companies that work with the Department of Defense will soon need to meet CMMC requirements to bid on contracts. That’s why UCEDC’s Procurement Technical Assistance Center (PTAC) has teamed with Project Spectrum to present a program on Level 1 CMMC certification and compliance processes developed by the Department of Defense. CMMC is a unified standard for implementing cybersecurity across the defense industrial base (DIB), which includes over 300,000 companies in the supply chain.
In this Basic Cybersecurity Hygiene (Level 1) training workshop, small business owners will learn about what will likely be required at the entry-level for a business to become cybersecurity-compliant in order to do business with the Department of Defense.
PLEASE NOTE: Once you have registered, a link to the webinar will be emailed to you prior to the event with instructions.
