Learn More, Do More – Union County

Thanks to a generous grant from Peapack-Gladstone Bank, UCEDC is offering a unique opportunity to family-based child care providers to receive free business training and a $500 grant to support their business.

This invitation-only 1 ½ day workshop will cover a variety of business topics relevant to the operation of a successful family-based child care business.  Accounting basics, financial statements, cash flow, taxes, and credit reports will be addressed.

At the end of the workshop, participants will receive a $500 six-month, no-payment loan from UCEDC.  A grant from Peapack-Gladstone Bank to UCEDC will be used to make payments on behalf of the loan recipients.

Participants will also receive individualized business mentoring for the six-month loan period.
