This class is a high level overview of topics covered in Entrepreneurship 101.  We’ll guide you through the assessment process and introduce you to the tools you’ll need to start and grow your business.  You’ll be better prepared to:

  • Determine if you have the traits necessary to be a business owner
  • Identify your strengths and weaknesses and how they fit with business ownership
  • Assess the feasibility of your business idea within your targeted market
  • Conduct market research, business planning, and financial projections

Alejandro Cruz
Training Officer

Alejandro Cruz is a training and mentoring officer at UCEDC, a statewide nonprofit economic development corporation that provides loans to startup and growing businesses, government contracting assistance, and training workshops to entrepreneurs and small businesses.

Prior to joining UCEDC, Alejandro held Project Manager positions at Wicresoft and Solar Renewable firms in New Jersey creating financial forecasts for business startups.  He also served as lead consultant for three years for an economic development center in South Jersey.
