Liam Winters
Managing Partner/Business Technology Advisor
Close Reach Solutions

Liam’s career in Information Technology began in 1988 while working for GPU, the former parent company of Jersey Central Power and Light (JCP&L). For eight of his twenty-five plus years in IT, he has held positions in management with well-known companies such as Liz Claiborne and SunGard. Liam transitioned into the role of IT consultant and left IT management in order to focus on the needs of small to medium-sized businesses.  He excels in this role because he fully understands the importance that technology plays when it comes to its impact on “the bottom-line.” He is able to present multiple options for small/medium-sized businesses which ensures that the technology that is deployed is congruent with the business’s needs while still remaining within budget.

Following an 18-year tenure as a senior contracting official for Greenbrier Industries in Englewood Cliffs, Maryann served as director of the Rockland County PTAC for 13 years. She joined UCEDC in 2007, and under her direction, the PTAC program was awarded the 2010 “Outstanding Center Award” by the Association of Procurement Technical Assistance Centers (APTAC).
